Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi.
You will travel by road, cross the equator from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere, and continue to the semi-arid region of Samburu Game Reserve.
Along the way, you will witness dramatic landscapes, including dried riverbeds, red volcanic soil, rock outcrops, woodlands, and the Ewaso Nyiro River.
You will arrive at your camp in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy your first game viewing drive in Samburu, where you can expect to see a variety of wildlife.
Return to your camp before sunset.
Dinner and overnight stay at your safari lodge/tented camp on a Full Board basis.
Enjoy a full day game drive at the Samburu Game Reserve and discover its unique and unspoiled scenery. Keep an eye out for the "Samburu Five," which includes the Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the Oryx beisa. Encounter East African lions, Tanzanian cheetahs, Cape buffalos, and various bird species during your game drive. You can also opt for a cultural visit to a Samburu village to learn about their traditional way of life (additional cost applies). Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay on a Full Board basis.
On your final day, you have two options:
Option 1:
Start your day with an early morning game drive to see the wildlife in action. After that, you can have breakfast and then check out to begin your journey back to Nairobi. Once you arrive in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at an agreed-upon location, marking the end of your memorable safari.
Option 2:
If you prefer, you can sleep in and enjoy breakfast before checking out and starting your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at an agreed-upon location, marking the end of your memorable safari.
